Starting as a Customer Care Advisor, I had become part of the floor training team, being a stakeholder in guiding the new employees to become experienced and comfortable with their conversations with customers and knowledge of the energy industry. Moving from the general Customer Care team to the Social Media Care team, being a public voice for So Energy in response to customers via social media and additionally taking leadership of webchat.
Online Radio show, playing music from unsigned bands and others I believe need the recognition. Weekly show for a 1 hour time slot where I curate a bunch of songs and sync them up together to flow well between each track.
I created this band, and written song structures and some of the lyrics for the band. I also do the majority of the promoting, logo designer, and event planning for the band.
I was the lungs of the company, creating bookings and up-selling package deals to include to their visit. This was a target-driven role which after the initial couple of months seen me exceed the 100% mark. Working with a split of inbound and outbound calls along with emails, accountability of bookings, taking payments for events and organising the flow of the day-to-day bookings in the venue, this scratches the surface of my role in the office.
Review live shows, record releases, upcoming musicians. Interview musicians about their career, music influences, ambitions and plans for the future. Regularly attending music events.
Part of an acoustic duo, guitarist and songwriter performing in and around London with original content and cover songs with a twist.
In January 2016 I moved to London, in which I found this job role as a Shift Manager. Within the space of 1 year, I have progressed to Assistant Manager, to the Branch Manager of the Temple Fortune branch. It is a fast paced work environment with many skills involved for my job role including the use of Excel and other various database programs, liaising with internal/external clients, maintaining the shops appearance and standards, delegating and leading a team.
1/4 of a Cornish band, who shared the stage with some big artists around the UK, and placing second in the Live & Unsigned Finals held at London O2. With a unique sound influenced by Rock music and a fusion of Synth/Keys, we were dubbed one of the best local acts in Cornwall. We recorded a 7 song EP which was part recorded in Sawmills Studio (Fowey) where the likes of Muse, Razorlight, and many many others have recorded albums, and part recorded and mixed at a small studio in Portsmouth. We held a local music festival in Newquay named 'Over The Hill' in which we sold close to 2,000 tickets for, and headlined the event. It was a great sense of accomplishment to play to that many people for a festival you put on yourself. Unfortunately we went our separate ways due to other commitments, but I gained great experience of live events, setting up a show, and touring the UK. Attached is a song which has footage from the festival.
