• This role requires me to oversee members swimming and exercising in the gym and ensuring they are doing so safely. I collaborate with the fellow employees and decide how to delegate our task between one another such as when to switch places on the poolside, which studios we will each clean and reset and help each other complete regular pool tests to check that the chlorine and ph levels are safe. We have regular competency training in first aid, CPR and rescuing members from the pool to ensure we can respond quickly and work with our team to tend to any situation. Some of my other responsibilities include: • Introducing new visitors to leisure facilities by delivering inductions. • Completed required paperwork such as accident reports. • Prepared equipment for swimming lessons • Addressed inappropriate behaviour and rule breaks professionally

(Social mobility business partnership) I spent a week travelling to the headquarters of huge brands such as KFC, Formula 1, PWC, Yahoo. Each day we spent discovering the workings of the marketing and law department and given challenges to work through and transform into marketing campaigns. We were then required to deliver these campaigns to the offices, discussing real life scenarios. For example, I was given a choice of different locations for formula 1s next race and consider the benefits and drawbacks of each one. I thoroughly enjoyed working as a team with people like myself who were interested in finding the best possible promotional opportunities for each company. This week required strategic planning along with extensive research of brands and competitor behaviour.
