For the Last 8 years I have been lucky enough to grow into a Senior Material Developer position at Camper and more recently aswell the trail running brand Nnormal. With a strong background in leather, textiles, knitwear and alternative materials, i was able to expand my passion for sustainability and innovation, applying them in a wide range of materials from high fashion to high performance.
For the Last 4 years I have been lucky enough to grow into the role of a Senior Material Developer in Camper and more recently in parallel the trail running brand Nnormal. With a strong background in leather, textiles, knitwear and alternative materials, i was able to expand my passion for sustainability and innovation, applying them in a wide range of materials from high fashion to high performance. • In charge of footwear/accessories materials development, definition of key suppliersand strategy: Leather, Synthetic and Bio synthetic materials. • Guarantee that the materials going into production following Camper´s physical and chemical standard, working together with the quality responsibles. • Manage, build and feed Materials library, Master standard and Color window approvals with references for Camper range of products from footwear to apparel. •Develop alternative materials that are recycled, renewable, regenerative and upcycled to support the brands eco-friendly, sustainability initiatives. •Proactively control and consolidate materials each season, achieving significant savings and reducing environmental impact. • Work with the sustainability team in order to source and develop the new textiles of tomorrow and achieving and maintaining the B-Corp certification. • Manage the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) with all materials quality, prices and production leadtimes.
