Purpose of Position

• Diamond mounting, providing technical support and advice.

Responsibilities

Mounting

• Mounting new stock and bespoke pieces.
• Altering existing stock and customer pieces.
• Repairing, resizing.
• Problem solving, finding solutions to designs.
• Ensuring jobs are completed on time, including working to tight deadlines.
• Giving technical and practical advice to the workshop team.
• Supporting the sales team.
• Being responsible for jobs from start to finish, including organising and tracking hours.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience

• Broad range of traditional diamond mounting skills, including back holing, gallery work, claw set, and collets.
• Experience working with gold and platinum.
• Experience in creating masters and working with castings.
• Knowledge of mechanisms, removable fittings, snaps, and articulation.

Ideal Candidate

• Proficient in mounting.

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently, handling mounting and turning pieces around in a timely manner.
