Hi! I’m a graphic designer and creative based in Manchester. I love pizza and print, gelato and all things digital. The Media Cntr

The Media Cntr is a charitable organization that operates within the HMP & YOI Doncaster prison, providing education and training in Creative and Digital Media. The aim of the centre is to harness the creativity of the prisoners, provide them with purposeful activities, and allow them to gain unique experiences and accreditation opportunities. My role included assisting prisoners during the early stages on a new project, the branding of a new service for all prisoners in Doncaster called “P.A.L.“ (Prisoner Assist Line). Tasks were to design a logo and informative leaflets, flyers, and posters. I also helped the Media Cntr team to decorate the induction room with posters and lettering.

My role included designing artworks for a variety of client briefs, following the project all the way to the production of the final high quality pieces (ex. leaflets, newsletters, posters, banners, adverts, shop windows, marketing materials, and more). This also involved quality checks, solving print issues and making client amendments. I gained a strong experience in working at pace on simultaneous projects and with flexible approach, developing client facing and communication skills. I also built knowledge of the print production process.
