Nienke Creemers

Cultural research, trend forecasting, copy writing
About

Even though I find it hard to assign myself to a discipline, I would describe myself as a researcher, designer, and writer. I am endlessly intrigued by the way society takes shape, alters its outlines, and eventually morphs into a diferent construct. Change can become a powerful tool in a world where everything is and can be altered or designed. During my studies, I have specialised in ethics within the fashion industry. Now my aim is to focus on future developments within a global context. Throughout my education and work experiences, I have developed extensive interdisciplinary skills in cultural research as well as design, presentation, writing, interviewing, pitching ideas, and collecting funding. Currently, I write about trends, sustainable development, and upcoming brands for FARFETCH's Fashion Feed, take part in the Design Futures Initiative's inquiry about designing policy and parttake in Quantum's strategic research into plant-based food.
