Background

Founded in 2019, this marketplace now has a live community of 700 seamstresses and makers across London, with around 10,000 more in the waitlist for when they launch in global markets.

The platform allows consumers to access a curated community of seamstresses for repairs, alterations & projects so they can book somebody trusted that is local to them. The brand values their sustainable approach to fashion and is proud to encourage consumers to make the most of their items.

They also work with some well-known brands with large scale partnerships coming up. They are currently building a white label platform for their partners which is essentially their booking platform branded with the partner logo, images and copy - but not only this, each version is fully customisable too. Product requests could cover checkout options, how they capture customer info, how they display results or any other aspect of the platform. One example use case is for the ability to scan a QR code in store to book alterations.
