Our client, a fast-growing and industry leader in sustainable fashion & apparel product design is excited to be recruiting a full-time Retail Special Projects Manager, reporting to the new Head of Retail. This person is accountable for the delivery of several special permanent retail projects and temporary pop-ups that will be key for the brand's growth in the upcoming three years.

The Retail Special Projects Manager will have a 360º retail experience in implementing our commercial strategy connected with the retail special projects. The new team member will oversee commercial targets, marketing initiatives, and brand ambassadors management. 

A day in the life: 

· Transform a retail idea into a proper retail concept that will be created and executed in a short period of time. 

· Develop the project  P&Ls' and drive the 3 years retail plan in the region, identifying regional and commercial opportunities in line with the wider company strategy and objectives.

· Work closely with our Head of Property and Real Estate agents to find the best locations for the projects in key markets for the brand.

· Together with the Retail Ops support execute and maintain industry best practices in the projects.

· Find, develop and maintain excellent brand ambassadors to be part of the team for the duration of the projects. 

· Implement Marketing and Communications inputs to achieve more visibility and the best results for the retail projects. 

· Develop proactively collaborative relationships with all internal stakeholders - Finance, Operations, Merchandising, Digital.


qualifications: 

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in a similar position in the Retail Industry. Ideally with experience in a DTC brand with a high growth rate. 
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and cost control. 
  • Proven experience in program and project management.
  • Previous P&L creation experience with highly effective numerical skills. 
  • Good understanding of the retail processes, systems, and tools with proven experience in improving them.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage varying stakeholder requirements.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus (French, Italian, Spanish, German preferred).
