Role: General Manager (Mat Cover)
We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to join Oner Active as our General Manager (Mat Cover). In this role, you will support the CEO in overseeing day-to-day operations, focusing on project delivery and internal infrastructure development. You need to be a strategic thinker, capable of managing cross-functional teams, and have a proven track record of successful project delivery and system enhancement through efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
CEO Support
- Partner closely with the CEO, executing directives and re-prioritising projects based on company strategy.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align projects with business strategy.
- Inform the CEO of any project, launch, or revenue risks and suggest mitigation.
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration, facilitating weekly cross-department meetings.
Strategic Project Management
- Prioritise projects based on company strategy and advise the CEO on changing priorities weekly.
- Manage a team to develop and implement project plans aligned with organisational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, holding partners accountable.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
Infrastructure Management
- Evaluate and enhance internal infrastructure to optimise operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and workflow automation.
- Manage UK IT and collaborate with global tech teams to implement technology solutions.
- Support the UK IT Manager in modernising and digitising internal systems.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage budgets for projects and infrastructure initiatives.
- Monitor operational expenditures to ensure financial goals are met.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
Legal Management
- Own the corporate legal budget and delivery, working with external counsel and the CEO.
- Liaise with law firms on trademark registrations, infringement investigations, and design rights strategy.
- Collaborate with SLT and internal departments for IP protection.

This role is hybrid, with 3 days in the London office and 2 days remote. Due to the nature of the role, travel may be required.
