We are now on the lookout for a Copywriter (freelance, part-time) to join a growing team. In this position, you will be working closely with our E-commerce and Marketing teams to shape the voice of one of Denmark's fastest growing startups across all channels and markets. You will lead a broad spectrum of visionary projects from start to finish, including tactical campaigns, collaborative and strategic copywriting to boost engagement, emotion, and SEO growth. We expect you to utilise storytelling to build our community, validate our product and attract the right people to advance our mission.

Main responsibilities:

  • Create engaging copy for various channels, including Email, Social Media, Advertising, Print, and our Webshop ensuring brand voice consistency.
  • Generate compelling copy to boost SEO.
  • Work with the Marketing and Creative team to concept the best, most innovative creative ideas for authentic storytelling for campaigns and activations.
  • Remain current on emerging trends and provide strategic recommendations to enhance campaigns and performance.
  • Shape our voice across different markets, including Germany and France (must be able to write in at least one of these languages)


Skills Requirements

  • The most important skill in this role is to create the right tone of voice MATE.BIKE is striving for our products and our community of riders.
  • You have a proven track record of developing and publishing strong and engaging copywriting on digital and social platforms.
  • 2+ years work experience as a Copywriter either for a start-up or agency.
  • You have a good understanding of SEO best practices and how to rank content on a search engine results page with copywriting.
  • English is your first language and you can also write in French or German (bonus for both!)
  • Experience working on campaigns across all channels (social, web, email, print, OOH)
  • Creativity, humor, and the ability to evoke emotions through copy is your speciality.
  • You are used to working in a fast-paced and high-growth working environment where there is an opportunity to work on many different tasks.
