About the Role:

Our client, a distinguished luxury French ready-to-wear (RTW) maison, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Commercial Director to lead their showroom and sales period during the upcoming Paris Fashion Week. This pivotal role requires a professional with comprehensive experience in the luxury fashion sector, particularly within luxury maisons, to spearhead client engagement and drive commercial success during this high-profile period.

Responsibilities:

  • Showroom Leadership: Guide and manage all aspects of the showroom, ensuring it operates as a cohesive and inviting space for corporate clients.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential corporate clients, providing them with an exceptional experience.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic approach to maximize sales and brand exposure during Fashion Week.
  • Market Insight: Utilize your extensive knowledge of the luxury fashion market to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth.
  • Networking: Leverage your established relationships with key global players within the luxury fashion industry to enhance the brand's reach and influence.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and coherence in showroom presentations.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior commercial role within a luxury maison.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a successful track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
  • Extensive network and relationships within the global luxury fashion industry.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus, especially french.
