About the role

The Beauty Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales and growth by activating key accounts with a strategic mindset. This position involves developing and executing tailored sales strategies, building strong relationships with key account stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to enhance brand presence and market share. Expertise in the beauty industry, combined with analytical skills and a strategic approach, is crucial for achieving sales targets and fostering long-term partnerships with key accounts. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a passion for beauty and a proven track record in sales. The successful candidate will join the NAMES team based in its East London headquarters.

Key duties:

  • Building and maintaining the client network across the beauty division by engaging and fostering relationships with key accounts, across Buying, Merchandising, and Marketing
  • Driving, monitoring and optimising sales performance, providing communication support in a timely manner, maximising opportunities across markets
  • Negotiating commercial terms, pricing, distribution, special projects, marketing activations and store installations
  • Planning sales forecasting, exceeding company targets and maximising buying budgets while identifying strategic opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Gaining a strong understanding of product knowledge, proactively exploring opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell across our brand portfolio
  • Contribute to consultancy projects
  • Working closely with our Marketing, CRM and Creative team to create and execute commercial strategies to drive traffic and sales conversion on NAMES.LIFE

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Key interest in the beauty retail sector, luxury fashion and business operations
  • +5 years' experience in a beauty sales role
  • Proven ability to handle pressure, multi-task and prioritise work on a daily basis
  • Highly numerate, target-driven, commercially minded
  • Strong communication skills, customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Strong organisational skills working both independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive mindset and a creative thinker
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Salesforce experience and languages a plus
