E-Commerce Assistant

We are currently looking for an E-Commerce Assistant to be stationed in London for our two brands, one being a luxury trunk-maker and the other being a contemporary luxury streetwear brand. In this role, you will support the smooth running of our growing business and be exposed to cross-functional opportunities such as website merchandising, online projects, digital media, CRM campaigns & Omni-channel activation to curate a memorable user and shopping experience. You will also be involved in strategic planning and trained to lead some of the initiatives in the online business. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, organised, able to work effectively in a fast-paced e-commerce environment and all of this with great passion!

This is for an an up-and-coming designer brand that was founded by a very well known & international creative director.

Responsibilities & Duties 

Trade:  

Work cross-functionally to ensure the website is updated in line with the Digital & Marketing Plan. Working closely with the Ecommerce Executive and Performance Marketing team, ensure trading plan is properly executed, coordinating assets, messages and linking strategy. 

∙ Identify opportunities to improve website performance and conversion rate to drive sales. ∙ Process customer orders, address inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service through various communication channels (email, chat, phone) 

Assist in coordinating product shipments, tracking orders, and addressing shipping-related issues. ∙ Assist in managing promotions, discounts, and special offers on the website. 


Web:  

∙ Assist in uploading and updating product listings on the e-commerce platform, ensuring accuracy in product descriptions, images, and prices. 

∙ Monitor and respond to customer reviews and feedback, maintaining a positive online reputation. ∙ Assist in analysing e-commerce performance metrics, generating reports, and identifying areas for improvement. 

∙ Assist in managing promotions, discounts, and special offers on the website. 

∙ Support the implementation of website updates, including layout changes, new feature integrations, and maintenance tasks. 

∙ Email marketing 


Site Merchandising: 

∙ Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stock outs and ensure accurate availability information on the website. 

∙ Be the point of contact with brand team, briefing and ensuring content assets are delivered on time and track their performance on Content Square. 

∙ Understanding, reviewing and action points from Customer Service


Qualifications & Skills 

∙ Proven experience in an e-commerce or retail environment, preferably as an assistant or coordinator. ∙ Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment ∙ Basic understanding of online marketing principles and SEO concepts 

∙ Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and content management systems 

∙ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and content management (e.g., Shopify) ∙ Strong verbal and written communication skills 

∙ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with productivity tools ∙ Basic graphic design skills and experience with photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) is a plus.
