The Head of Image is responsible for creating strong, innovative, high-performing image concepts for still, film, print and packaging that builds a stronger visual and emotional universe and narrative around the brand and entertains and engages with our community.
The role is responsible for conceiving, executing and overseeing the image team in the development, production and post-production of stills + motion campaigns, for social media content, e-commerce, interior design, events and other brand related projects for the brand and additional platforms. The role also includes brand and marketing collateral material, such as packaging, lookbooks, newsletters, e-commerce, invitations, advertising layouts and social media content.
You will support the image team with their projects on a day-to-day basis, delivering feedback and, together with the Brand Director, ensuring impeccable delivery. You will report to the Brand Director.
The responsibilities of this position encompass, but are not limited to:
- Create visually impactful, convincing and innovative concepts for still and film in line with brand
- image and company and marketing strategy
- Own the annual and monthly image content mapping and plan for all campaigns and social content
- and translate brand vision, house codes and product features into content that resonates with our
- audience.
- Lead and execute assigned creative shoot projects from concept to completion, including brand and
- marketing collateral such as lookbooks, newsletters, invitations, advertising layouts, e-commerce
- and social media content
- Research, conceptualize, lead and execute assigned print and digital initiatives
- Lead the inhouse image team in their day-to-day work. Communicate the project status with
- stakeholders and facilitate project-related team meetings and communicate action steps to broader
- team.
- Drive creativity and innovation within the image team. Identify brand moments and opportunities to
- Propose creative teams and collaborators
- Direct the creative teams on-set
- Art buying of creative teams and casting
- Ensure all global assets produced meet the brands visual identity standards and deliverables meet
- stakeholder expectations, to establish creative briefs, timelines, and budgets.
- Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and product releases.
- Develop brand and creative guidelines, templates and best practice processes. Coach internal team on
- brand standard
- Responsible for team recruitment, 1-2-1 and annual salary reviews
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in art direction,
- preferably within sneakers or premium fashion
- Strong art direction skills, from idea conception to
- execution and post-production
- Confident and experienced with moving image and
- digital content creation
- Experience working with typography, packaging and
- A strong portfolio reflecting professional experience
- Skilled user of the Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to produce global brand assets of a high
- standard
- Ability to lead the in-house creative team in their
- day-to-day work
- Ability to optimize flows and efficiency
