The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving store growth, managing marketing and events initiatives, upholding brand standards, maximizing customer satisfaction, and ensuring financial targets are met. Moreover, the candidate should represent the brand in all his/her actions within the store, implementing the brand's vision and values at every level of operation. The role involves working closely with various departments at the corporate level to ensure seamless operation, sales growth, and brand consistency as well as managing a team of experienced managers in the store (marketing, HR, floor managers, operations, ...). Candidates must possess outstanding leadership skills, a keen eye for details, and a vision to take the flagship store to new heights.

Role Overview

The Store Director position offers full accountability for achieving store's budgeted growth and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. This involves:

  • Balancing in-store and omnichannel experiences while ensuring the brand priorities deliver memorable and profitable experiences.
  • Leading a team of more than 200 people to provide a premium consumer experience.
  • Setting a strategic vision for the store and the needs of the global and local consumers.
  • Ensuring long-term, profitable growth by focusing on increasing revenue and maximizing productivity.
  • Building strong relationships with regional and territory partners to influence strategic priorities and remove friction.
  • Working with senior management and HR to implement a people & engagement strategy that reflects the company's core values.
  • Overseeing the store's seasonal launch in collaboration with the Business Director.
  • Ensuring compliance and risk management by building strong partnerships with relevant functions.
  • Collaborating with retail operations for the launch of programs and in-store capabilities.
  • Optimizing store visits to benefit stakeholders and ensuring the visit objectives are met.
  • Influencing and communicating marketing strategies and dynamic marketplace trends.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to create inspiring events and brand activations that connect the consumers and members to the brand.

Requirements

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Minimum of 10 years of retail experience, including 5 years in senior management of high turnover, large store/region.
  • Proven track record of delivering all retail KPIs.
  • Flagship mentality.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to build, lead and manage high-performing teams.
  • Experience in building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Retail operational excellence, budgeting, and planning experience.
  • Aesthetic understanding of product proposition within high-end retail.
