About This Role

We are excited to be helping Pangaia recruit a full-time Wholesale Manager as part of a growing Wholesale & Retail team. The Wholesale Manager will have the opportunity of maintaining current wholesale relationships with different countries and setting up the wholesale growth strategy aligned with the business strategy of PANGAIA.

A day in the life

  • Develop strong on-going relationships with all wholesale partners, being the first point of contact for any queries and issues.
  • Identify and approach new wholesale partners, negotiating all terms and conditions for a successful partnership.
  • Monitor and regularly report on key KPI’s for existing and new accounts, providing detailed analysis as appropriate, and acting on any findings.
  • Develop and implement the seasonal wholesale strategy in line with Merchandising and the company strategy.
  • Implement effective sales campaigns, leading all showrooms and presentations to reach set sales targets.
  • Work with the Head of Retail to conduct and coordinate brand training where appropriate.
  • Work with the Visual Merchandising Manager to ensure all partners are representing PANGAIA correctly, and that all pricing and product information is up to date.
  • Form close relationships with internal stakeholders (finance, production, planning, marketing etc) to co-ordinate smooth deliveries, payments and product launches.
  • Responsible for the management and development of the Wholesale Assistant.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years professional experience in similar position in the Fashion Industry. Ideally with experience in a DTC brand with high growth rate.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and cost control.
  • Proven experience in program and project management.
  • Previous P&L creation experience with highly effective numerical skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage varying stakeholder requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and develop relationships.
  • Experience in managing and developing team members
