Our client, a leading company in sustainable fashion & lifestyle product design are looking for a Digital Director to head of their e-commerce and marketing teams. This opportunity requires a balance of leadership, strategic thinking and strong technical experience in D2C e-commerce, digital marketing and traffic acquisition.

A day in the life:

  • Lead, deliver & drive integrated online & digital strategy, creating a fully optimised digital first omni channel platform.
  • Contribute to the brand, regional & global strategy, with innovative digital first plans & priorities.
  • Full digital P&L ownership; key KPIs & measures of success by channel, cross channel & region to deliver actionable insight to the wider business.
  • Be a digital evangelist, championing the use of digital technology and practices to embed a digital mindset from the Senior Board and down.
  • Ensure collaboration, knowledge sharing, and digital best practices between partners and, internally between colleagues to help embed a robust digital-first mindset.
  • Measure ROI on digital projects to ensure we are investing in the right tools and resources to driver business goals.
  • Deep dive channel trends, customer behaviour patterns and regional market opportunities to inform trading & operational strategy & actions.
  • Drive the digital innovation & personalisation roadmap. Deliver, integrate & optimise brand right, best in class innovative experiential commerce capability
  • Drive a culture of data driven decisions, through 360 cross channel analytics & data and a robust A/B testing road map based on data driven opportunity identification
  • Close collaborative relationship with the Marketing, Comms & PR teams to build an innovative, digital first omni channel program to maximise brand positioning.
  • Support the companies B2B business to transform to a digital first approach.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record leading a global business successfully through a hyper growth phase, in a very fast moving environment.
  • Experience managing and leading a digital team.
  • Have an innovative & disruptive mindset & have the capabilities and resiliency to operate and thrive in challenging and changing environments with positivity and agility.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership, drive for creativity and innovation in e-commerce and digital tools and experiences.
  • You have a consumer and team centric approach
  • International territory experience is desirable
  • Data enthusiast with very competent with numerical & analytical skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
