Background:

In order to launch the 1st french womens ready-to-wear collection for a new designer, due date Paris Fashion Week of February/March 2023, we are looking for a styling and modeler consultant to work directly with the designer in the full development of the collection.

Activities:

• Elaborate the collection strategy from the designer's creative idea
• Elaborate and design collection assets
• Elaborate and create collection assets concepts
• Elaborate and create collection assets masters
• Sourcing of collection assets base materials
• Pattern design of collection assets masters

Profile:

The retained candidate will have certificates in both primary areas of requested expertise:

• Asset Styling
• Asset Modeling

The retained candidate will have a minimum proven experience of 2 years in womens ready-to-wear collection development (excluded are work placements)

The retained candidate will have a strong consultancy and hands-on approach

Engagement:

At this stage, this is a one-off project with potential downstream continuation in the design of future collections as well as in the set-up of supply chain and production. An opportunity to participate in the beginnings of a new brand.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be invited to:

• A 1st interview (Paris based) with the advisory business consultant evaluating the candidate's technical potential for collaboration

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to:

• A 2nd interview (Paris based) with the advisory business consultant and the designer evaluating the candidate's interpersonal potential for collaboration

With the application the candidate is required to provide a portofolio of past projects and a personal vision statement on its design preferences.
