 Responsibilities

Manage and Develop Staff

  • Support Store Manager functionally to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day business operations team.
  • Drive the implementation of standardized processes. Create a common understanding of efficient work principles, leveraging best practices and IT systems. Contribute to and facilitate system implementations and process changes. Train and support all levels and act as a multiplier of best practice methods.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to the team to ensure buy-in, roll out, and efficient support in-store.

Responsible for Operations Management

  • Act as Liaison between the Cluster and the Region: Help drive leverage of process excellence. Build and maintain a close relationship with regional Process Owners.
  • Cycle Count planning & coordination for Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, and Nordics.
  • PI planning & coordination for Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, and Nordics.
  • Oversee the Borrowed Merchandise process.

Responsible for Security issues in cooperation with local Store Management and Regional Security

  • Manage construction and facility-related projects.
  • Ensure that all in-store procedures, as well as special outside events, are in accordance with our policies and guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain an open line of communication between local Store Management and Regional Security.

Cross-Functional Teaming

  • Work with local offices as well as international offices and the U.S. to support the initiatives and efforts of the stores.
  • Approve operations-related invoices from third-party vendors for all stores in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Nordics in Esker.
  • Support Finance in Operations-related reconciliation processes.

Client Service

  • Oversee customer service processing for both local and the US in cooperation with Retail.
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Projects development.

Qualifications

  • Project Portfolio Management experience
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of team leadership within a large-scale, rapid, and process-driven environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Very strong analytical skill, with the ability to translate operational issues into workable solutions. Able to dive deep whilst seeing the big picture.
  • Continuous Improvement skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft XP (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards and MIPS
  • Didactic skills and experience
  • Working proficiency in German (business) and English (Business)
