Head of Collection Merchandising

 Management of the performance of the Textile offer and of the transversality of the visions by category:

Carrying out in-depth analyzes on the performance of the textile collections and particularly of the brand's iconic franchises (Polos, Tracksuits, V-necks, Accessories)

● Feed the 3-year roadmaps for each category and ensure their transversal consistency

Coordination and transversality of the collection plan:

● Manage and support the Collection Merchandisers team in carrying out the main activities:

o the realization of benchmarks to refine the positioning of the brand and identify opportunities

o construction and briefing of the collection plan for designers

o the management of the pricing of the collection

o coordination with the Finance team on collection, pricing and volume landings

o collection of Product documentation

o cross-functional management of Product merchandising tools

● Guarantee the consistency of the collection plans made by the Collection merchandisers, their alignment with the three-year offer strategy, in particular on the development of the brand's iconic franchises

● Contribute to the construction of presentation supports for the key moments of sharing, each season.


Management of the Collection Merchandising sector:

● Recruit, accompany and support Collection Merchandisers by providing expertise on the function

● Leading exchanges with Retail Merchandising teams to ensure good adoption of the offer and a good response to market expectations

Analysis of collection data and integration into seasonal framing:

● Manage and support a Merchandising business analyst on the collection of Product reference data, the analysis of collection data and recommendations, the construction of dashboards and performance monitoring

● Manage and support the Products Support for Sales Development in the rationalization and collection of Product information to improve the commercial reach of product information

● Participate in product data optimization projects


Presentation of collections to markets and internal teams

• Coordinate presentations and ensure the updating and sharing of collection tools at each key stage of development: collection plan, price mapping, key looks

• Work closely with Retail Merchandising to receive market feedback


Profile and Skills:

• Successful experience of at least 5-10 years in Collection Merchandising in the Fashion sector, and of at least 4 years in team management

• Very good interpersonal skills to navigate in an organization where the merchandising boundaries between category collection manager and Global Merchandising (Retail & Wholesale) sometimes overlap.

• Ability to co-construct and not impose

• Ability to embark teams

• Knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)

• Strategic thinking, very good sense of analysis and synthesis

• Mastery of the Microsoft Office pack (very good Excel & PowerPoint level)

• Product sensitivity

• Fluent English and French
