Senior Marketing Manager

Au Depart is on the lookout for a well-rounded Senior Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate should be a creative individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. This role involves translating the brand's DNA, mood, and tone across various media and guiding the team, partners, and third parties on brand initiatives. Also, the candidate should be able to suggest and lead marketing projects.


Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient Marketing support to the Brand Manager to contribute to the brand's annual growth
  • Understand thoroughly the brand DNA, mood & tone
  • Act as the brand guardian, ensuring all external communications, briefings to creative agencies and content creation align with the brand
  • Lead the in-house Media-Planner and commercial goals
  • Identify relevant media opportunities
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of all media campaigns and performance on marketing channels
  • Manage the media budget effectively, maintaining project sheets and PO numbers, and dealing with all media-related payment inquiries
  • Manage POS requests within budget constraints from quote acquisition through to material delivery
  • Keep retailers updated with current and new product launches as well as relevant support sales material
  • Maintain customer relationship management by assisting customer inquiries
  • Communicate closely with Brand PR to identify editorial opportunities with Media partners
  • Plan and execute brand events within budget constraints while preserving Brand values
  • Liaise with relevant parties for new accounts opening
  • Monitor and maintain all marketing expenditure
  • Supervise and communicate with key stakeholders and vendors for event management during offline campaigns


Requirements and Skills

  • Fluency in French and a thorough understanding of French culture
  • 4+ years of experience working with retailers in the luxury industry
  • Passion for the luxury industry and sensitivity towards fashion and style
  • Pro-active and passionate
  • Previous experience in media for premium consumer brands, either agency or client-side work
  • Negotiation skills and experience in building relationships with providers and media partners
  • Experience in planning and executing prestigious events with premium/luxury brands
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills
