Graphic Designer:

As part of a growing marketing department that drives and services all brand visual output, we are currently recruiting for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for the design & creation of the brand's visual assets from brief through to delivery, working closely with all departments across the business to develop creative solutions to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the creation and execution of all graphic design from concept to launch, working on a wide range of materials including social asset creation, digital and moving image, print communication and point of sale.
  • Develop highly creative, engaging, and unique concepts & ideas for all visual and communication assets. Conceptualising a brief from issue through to artwork and implementation with strong creative ideation and design thinking, on your own or as a team.
  • Build and refine the JM brand guidelines, and continually manage and evolve the brand identity: ensuring this is central and consistent across all creative projects and platforms.
  • Hands on design ability to produce and deliver multifaceted communication materials. Creating and implementing successful print and digital media campaigns.
  • Research, develop and present new creative ideas for discussion, championing new and interesting creative talent within the industry. 
  • Work with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless multichannel brand experience.
  • Ability to structure/deliver outstanding creative presentations (internally or externally).

Person/Skills Specification:

  • Solid experience in Graphic Design, ideally with lifestyle or luxury retail brands
  • Strong portfolio of work including layout, typography, branding and motion
  • Highly creative with the ability to demonstrate a creative approach to problem solving and idea generation.
  • Good understanding of photography, filming, retouching and video editing and a good eye for taking candid social style photography
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and complemented by a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software (particularly Powerpoint).
  • Experience of producing design for digital settings and a willingness to develop this skill base.
  • Entrepreneurial - We’re ambitious about our growth, so you need to be proactive and solutions driven in a fast paced environment
  • A network of skilled designers, Illustrators, CGI artists, video editors, printers and packaging suppliers
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and experienced working to tight deadlines. 
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles is not essential but would be a plus
