Title: Business Controller (Contrôleur de Gestion)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Controller to join the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting, as well as experience in the fashion or luxury industry. As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for providing financial insight and guidance to the business, analyzing financial performance, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain accurate financial models and reports to support decision-making and strategy development

Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to identify trends, risks and opportunities for the business

Work closely with the various business units and departments to understand their financial performance, and provide insight and recommendations for improvement

Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management and the Board of Directors

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure the financial performance of the business

Coordinate and lead the budget and forecast process

Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and accounting standards

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business-related field

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and/or business controlling, with at least 2 years in a similar role

Strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting

Coming from an Audit firm 

Experience in fashion or luxury industry is a plus

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data and make recommendations

Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial modeling

Strong communication and presentation skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
