Summary 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Digital to join a Luxury Retail Group . As the Head of Digital, you will play a crucial role in driving digital strategy across the group’s brand portfolio and ensuring the successful execution of all online initiatives. 

In this role, you will oversee a team of digital experts and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing and operations to develop and implement innovative digital campaigns and strategies. You will have the opportunity to shape our online presence and drive growth through your expertise in digital marketing, e-commerce, and customer experience. 

Key responsibilities include developing and executing digital marketing plans, managing website optimisation and user experience, overseeing social media strategy and content creation, analysing data and metrics to inform decision-making, managing the e-commerce function or performance of the business, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Achieve sales targets against budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead and manage all digital channels, including website, social media platforms, email marketing, online advertising, and the e-commerce function or performance of the business.
  • Responsible for driving website traffic and increasing user engagement through effective SEO techniques, content marketing strategies, and e-commerce initiatives.
  • Analyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, optimised for mobile devices, and supports seamless e-commerce transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, product management, and creative, to develop integrated digital campaigns that support brand awareness, customer acquisition, and boost e-commerce sales.
  • In charge of managing the budget for digital marketing initiatives, allocating resources effectively to maximise return on investment (ROI), and optimise e-commerce performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth within the digital space and e-commerce sector.
  • Lead the digital teams in executing against annual strategy - hit forecast targets for sales, optimise the website for conversion

Requirements

  • You must have a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and trends in order to develop and execute effective campaigns across various online channels.
  • We expect you to be proficient in using analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, to track and analyse the performance of digital marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions.
  • You should have experience managing and optimising websites, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimised for search engines.
  • It is essential that you possess strong project management skills to oversee multiple digital projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • You must be skilled in effectively utilising social media platforms to build brand awareness, engage with customers, drive traffic to our digital assets, and manage the performance of the business.
  • We require you to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as you will be responsible for creating compelling and persuasive content for various digital channels, including websites, social media, and email marketing.
  • You should have a solid understanding of SEO principles and techniques to improve organic search rankings and increase website visibility.
  • It is important that you have experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization to continuously improve the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Shopify, Klayvio, SAP and Mailchimp experience would be a bonus
  • Netsuite experience a bonus
