Working closely with the brand's founders, who will provide Art Direction and support with the content calendar, you will work to transmit the DNA and values of the brand into their social media content. As a Social Media Manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express the company’s values of heritage and family creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle their social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement. This brand has a young startup energy, so the role is ideal for people willing to get in on new initiatives and make an impact.


  • Create and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Outline content calendar with support from founders
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content on a daily base - either creating content yourself or using partners for photo/video production
  • Experiment with new ideas to increase the chance of viral posts
  • Pro-actively communicate with followers and target audiences, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Overseeing the design and tone of voice of the social media accounts in consultation with the founders
  • Conducting research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Agree and work towards specific objectives and reports on ROI
  • Suggest and implement new tactics to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design, tools and applications
  • Management of influencer marketing activities

Job Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager and knowledge of the whole social media landscape
  • Ideally experience from young brands that have been launched on social media with strong engagement
  • Hands on experience in content creation and community management
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Ability to deliver mobile-first creative content (text, image and video), conceptual support, will be provided by the founders
  • Conceptional mindset to create a consistent story for our brand
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels and SMM software solutions
  • Efficient high sense of urgency and able to work well under pressure
  • Analytical mindset
