Client Development Specialist offers a consistent one to one personalized luxury shopping experience that is above and beyond a normal in-store interaction. 

Assist the the GM to roll-out a consistent approach to VIC's and client development within the store and locally expand current client “book“ of client to further develop revenue. 

Ability to re-engage existing inactive clients through activations/events/appts through personalized approach. 

Partner with GM and team to elevate selling ceremony and initate innovative business ideas.

Support business through relationship building with local businesses, concierges of Luxury Hotels , networking events and other relevant associations to drive footfall to the store. 

Create in-store activations/events.

Ability to work with clients in store but also other preferred client venues such as hotels, offices or their homes and other David Webb locations. 

Good knowledge of the local market and client service expectations

Develop the sale by selecting an appropriate range of options for the customer, providing good product knowledge, overcoming objections and offering appropriate additional items (link selling).

Keep accurate records of all client details to personalize each interaction as relationship evolves. 

Achieve individual sales targets and be aware of store sales targets.

Other responsibilities will include improving the New York boutique’s look and feel, including in-store product merchandising, developing store team’s performance goals and updating management through reporting metrics.  

Naturally interested in building brand awareness and showing initiative to attract and create clients.

Networking opportunities range from meetings, events, charity dinners and other work-related functions in the region plus trade-shows both domestic and abroad. 

Extensive luxury retail experience and understanding of existing David Webb clients as well as new potential clients. 

Be available to attend external events to network on behalf of David Webb when required or initiated. 

Excellent attention to detail

Extensive luxury retail experience and understanding of CRM.

Good knowledge of the local market and client service expectations

Ability to work to multi-task

Good time management skills to ensure clients requirements are met with in deadlines provided. 

A second language in French, Arabic, Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous, but not essential.
