Assistant Trading Manager - Luxury Fashion and Beauty - London - 12 month
This maternity cover opportunity comes at a time when the team have increased their remit and are looking at ways to advance the user experience through a robust A/B testing and personalisation roadmap.
You will work with a wide variety of people from other teams both here in the UK, in the other markets in our region – Canada, Latin America, South Africa and Ireland, and with the global creative teams in Paris as well as 3rd party technology partners.
What impact you can create:
Analysis & Trade Reporting:
You will be responsible for trade and analytics reporting on a weekly/monthly/ad-hoc basis, sharing insights & actions with the Ecommerce and wider teams. This would extend to providing regular feedback and insights on Digital campaigns across the website using multiple sources of data to provide constructive campaign analysis. It will be key within your role to collaborate with e-Commerce Manager on producing key presentations for stakeholder meetings sharing insights on performance to drive future strategic conversations.
Management and development of the Ecommerce Assistant will be a highlight of the position. Overseeing and upskilling them on trade and analytics reporting to enable them to support with developing local merchandising strategies to grow the digital Flagship Business.
Merchandising management
You will be responsible for managing the creation and maintenance of the ecommerce calendar including, digital campaign launches, product activations and CMS updates, ensuring a streamlined process and alignment with marketing, retail, and CRM teams.
Drive the e-Commerce product assortment through attending buying cycles to forecast new campaigns and initiatives as well as maintaining the product range reviewing sales and stock levels are consistently fulfilled.
As well as managing the above for the website in the UK there is the additional support from for other markets that sit within the UK region, plus other divisional teams across eyewear and Watches & Fine Jewellery.
Digital Marketing
Thirdly, it sits within the role to support the development and execution of online marketing activities to drive the e-Commerce business, taking ownership of eCommerce tasks. Covering paid search E-Commerce strategy in partnership with Media teams and execution of global and UK market SEO strategies. Both PPC and SEO channels are managed in collaboration with dedicated agencies. Further the E-merchandising team partner closely with CRM team to ensure email campaigns are optimised for site trends.
Collaborate with Digital CRM team to ensure strong EDM strategy that both supports key campaigns and local trends. This role is encouraged to regularly explore opportunities to increase traffic to website, monitoring performance and highlighting new initiatives that could be explored.
What you will bring to the role:
• An approachable, collaborative and team focused demeanour
• Strong previous experience with Ecommerce systems (CMS, PIM)
• A history of Digital trading in the retail space with proven results
• Advanced Excel Knowledge
• Previous experience with Power BI or other advanced reporting system
• Excellent presentation & PowerPoint skills
