Duties will include, but are not limited to:
· Account/ Client management – designers, suppliers, buyers
· Diary management – buyers and designers
· Selling collections – seasonally
· Seasonal preparation support – i.e. brand strategies
· Product development support – i.e. seasonal feedback documents
· New business support
· Cold calling
· Working as a team with other sales staff, managers and director(s)
· Comprehensively updating databases on a regular basis
· Management of interns
· Ensure that all necessary materials for each sales season are ready in a timely
manner (samples, line sheets, look books, pricing, etc.)
· Assistance in building and developing partners/brands
· Admin support
· Take and process orders, negotiate payment and delivery terms.
· Distribution support – inventory stocktaking
· In-store training activity
· In-store visual merchandising
· Liaising with PR external departments (in-store and brand PR)
· Processing orders
The Ideal Candidate
· Minimum 3 years designer wholesale experience with a passion for sales and
building relationships
· Knowledge of fashion seasonal calendar and deadlines
· Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
· Enthusiastic and hardworking
· Strong knowledge of Office software
· Knowledge of JOOR preferable
· Strong sense of initiative
· Ability to work calmly under pressure
· Ability to work in a close team
· Ability to work directly with assigned designers
· Honest and hardworking
· Multilingual preferred but not essential
