**Role Overview**


Dunhill are looking for a dynamic individual to take the lead in product development for their multi-category apparel. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating luxury-level products while working within strict timelines and challenging costing margin parameters. This role demands a strong partnership with our designers and merchandisers, and involves following a product’s complete development, from initial drawings to final samples. 


**Key Responsibilities**


- Manage the product development for a selection of multi-category apparel products, mainly soft accessories and shirts. They are open to profiles with a multitude of product and category backgrounds, not just regulated to menswear.

- Use insights into the competitive environment, sales data, brand DNA and market feedback to manage the development of creative and commercial product collections

- Drive innovation and research & development for continuous progression and elevation of collections

- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure completion of relevant development steps

- Negotiate costs to align with margin strategy

- Maintain up-to-date data in the PLM system

- Support the Quality & CSR team with the sustainability strategy

- Manage ad-hoc projects and support counterparts when needed

- Organise and maintain fabric, leather and trims archiving systems

- Support the technical and design teams during product fit sessions

- Source innovative and sustainable materials

- Prepare and present your product category at key sign off meetings

- Manage all incoming/outgoing shipments and couriers

- Monitor prototype and salesman sample deliveries

- Track and monitor purchase orders and manage your seasonal budget 


**Success Criteria**


- Relevant product development experience

- Experience in managing design and product development critical paths

- Team player with a positive approach

- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multiple projects

- Excellent written and spoken English proficiency

- Relevant BA (Hons) or equivalent qualification in design

- Openness to ideas and a collaborative work ethic

- Willingness to travel abroad to liaise with suppliers
