Exciting Italian fashion house is looking for a Key member to join the RTW team as a Junior Product Developer. As Product Manager developer - RTW, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s best interest is kept in mind when developing and allocating product for the brand. You will help to manage the internal process to increase efficiencies and continuously improve the production strategy, process, and management of priorities. This is a permanent contract, OPPORTUNITY BASED IN MILAN.

 Responsibilities:

-You will work with Sr Production Manager to oversee the product development & production process for RTW. Maintain very positive and professional relationships with vendors and internal partners in an effective manner

-Assist with factory allocation and sourcing strategy

-Ensure all materials used and construction details identified meet cost parameter guidelines.

-Review costing at proto, market and production stage

-Tracking and approving all samples at proto and market stage

-Creating, tracking and managing bulk production orders through weekly wip

-Attend weekly fittings with design & technical design at all stages of development

Oversee all trim and embellishment sourcing and production including exploring new trim vendors, setting up appointments with design, counter sourcing for cost savings and custom trim development follow up.

-Work with R&D team to follow up from market approved fabric to bulk production.

-Ensuring factories achieve on-time delivery through production tracking & follow up.

-Ensure teams adhere to all sourcing and manufacturing SOPs

-Special projects that drive results and brand initiatives

 Qualifications

 -3-5 years of relevant experience in production, sourcing, and product development

-Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills

-Initiative/sense of urgency; demonstrated problem solving skills

-Strong ability to manipulate data for efficient analysis

-Understanding of garment FOB cost breakdowns

-Understanding of RTW garment construction

-Able to adapt and excel in a rapidly changing and growing environment

-Strong ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility

-Building strong internal and external partnership critical

-Understanding cross-functional needs

-Manage and development of direct reports

-PLM experience
