Head of Sales

We are looking for a Head of Sales to drive the growth and engagement of our luxury seller/brand community and to execute the strategy with a small team. With the ambitious goal of reaching 100 sellers in the next year, this could be the opportunity for you if you are a self-starter with a commercial mindset. You will report to the CEO and be part of our Leadership team.


We want to scale our supply, offer our sellers a high-quality experience and adequately meet the demand side of the marketplace. You will be in charge of the full lifecycle of a seller at Prestigier and will directly manage some of our unique supply functions while collaborating with other teams. You will support an integrated approach to acquiring, onboarding, and retaining sellers while ensuring they bring those highly quality listings to the platform.


The ideal candidate is someone who’s passionate about the luxury goods industry, with a good understanding of how to build relationships with luxury goods brands and sellers.


Responsibilities

  • Establish a robust sales process, clearly defining each step of the sales funnel
  • Promote an engaged, energetic, and inclusive environment that encourages high productivity while maintaining a positive work experience
  • Understand in depth the seller journey, build a roadmap to help remove barriers and ease paint points, and understand end-to-end seller activity, including multi-tenancy and pricing
  • Maintain a clear and granular grasp of sales performance at all times and continuously adjust to achieve sales objectives
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a world-class sales team
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Manage relationships with luxury brands/sellers
  • Manage compliance and best practices for onboarding, training and managing sellers
  • Build processes to monitor supply quality and to coach, remediate, and churn sellers as necessary
  • Handling payouts to sellers in an automated and compliant manner
  • Fiercely advocate for Prestigier’s core values, and be a living embodiment of those values in all you do.
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as Head of Sales or relevant role
  • Outstanding sales operations skills around tools, forecasting, account management
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and G-suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Excellent knowledge of luxury goods and brands
  • Entrepreneurial, problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex deals, ideally in a marketplace company.
  • Experience working in a startup
  • A willingness to work long and unsociable hours - including evenings and weekends. As a fast-growing start-up, this a ‘roll your sleeves up’ role
