The Menswear Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing new collections, ensuring that our brand remains at the forefront of men's fashion. This role involves a keen eye for trends, strong technical skills, and a deep understanding of the menswear market. The ideal candidate will have experience in apparel design, a passion for menswear, and the ability to translate creative ideas into commercially successful products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design seasonal menswear collections in line with the brand’s vision and market trends.
• Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics, techniques, and seek design inspiration.
• Create sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings to communicate design concepts.
• Select fabrics, trims, and other materials to be used in the designs.
• Collaborate with pattern makers and sample makers to develop prototypes.
• Oversee fittings and make adjustments to garments to ensure proper fit and design.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and align with production capabilities.
• Present design ideas and collections to senior management and buyers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products.
• Attend fashion shows, trade fairs, and exhibitions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Menswear Designer or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
• Excellent understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and textiles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for men’s fashion and knowledge of current market trends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with luxury or high-end menswear brands.
• Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices.
• Experience with 3D design tools and technology.
