Etre Cecile is an independent accessible luxury fashion brand that has retail, online, and wholesale distribution channels and is known for tongue-in-cheek slogans, punchy prints, and luxury fabrications. They are looking for an experienced wholesale professional who can help them grow their brand distribution globally, with a specific focus on Europe and Asia. This is a flexible freelance opportunity to work with the core team for six week periods at a time throughout the year. This is ideal for a wholesale professional, who is already indepedent or is looking for more flexibility. Experience in building wholesale distribution for Luxury & Fashion brands is key, plus an appreciation for the unique design aesthetic of Etre Cecile.

Duties will include; 

Maintaining and expanding the wholesale distribution 

Network engagement - encouraging new business and increased awareness of the brand and growing online and in-store presence. 

Creating a global distribution strategy, identifying key markets and new target stockists.

Prospecting and selection of outlets, agents or international distributor

Responsible for budget, and forecast; in line with the company’s needs & expectations. 

Responsible for reaching sales targets on the market and presenting new business development strategies for new expansion opportunities 

Responsible for customer negotiation agreements; in line with the company’s needs & expectations.

Create and maintain good relationships with partners.

Make sure everything is set for Showrooms, including managing the budget, coordinating sales materials, samples, fit-models, etc. 

Manage all pre-selling and post-selling sales activities, including processing Order Confirmations

The Candidate

This is a broad role and the successful candidate will be very hands-on, and work well within a small team.

Excellent communication skills and adaptable personality

Highly organised, with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, with occasional self-management.

High accuracy attention to detail

A can-do attitude and good problem-solving skills and the initiative to resolve issues

Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate at all levels

An existing network within the market 

Strong ability to negotiate and build strategic plans as well as implement new business opportunities

Strong understanding of the designer and luxury market environment
