Acting as our Head of Ecommerce you will take full ownership of optimising the site's performance, identifying areas for improvement and executing strategies to increase conversion. Taking ownership of ecommerce performance, you will play an integral role in driving the growth of our multi-brand fashion business. You will work closely with our Head of Finance, Retail Director, Digital Marketing Manager and Buyers to ensure that our online store provides a seamless shopping experience for customers across our categories.

Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities to improve site performance, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making, and working with our wider team to implement changes that drive revenue growth.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of ecommerce best practices, as well as experience with data analysis and project management. You should also possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable collaborating with colleagues across different functions within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Strategise and execute plans to maximise online sales and revenue.
  • Analyse website traffic data and use customer insights to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Manage onsite A/B testing and other optimisation tactics to improve user experience, conversion rates, and average order value (AOV).
  • Work cross-functionally with the wider team to ensure all product descriptions, imagery, and branding are optimised for ecommerce best practices.
  • Oversee and optimise email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalisation and promotion planning.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies related to ecommerce optimisation and bring new ideas to the table.
  • We expect you to present regular reports on ecommerce performance, highlight successes and areas of improvement and make recommendations to drive growth.


Requirements

  • You must have a strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and technology, including website optimization tools, analytics software and SEO.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus (or similar), Klaviyo (or similar) and Brightpearl (or similar).
  • You should be able to identify areas of improvement in our customer journey and develop strategies to drive conversion rates.
  • As part of the team, you will need to be analytical and data-driven, using insights to inform decision-making and measure success.
  • The ideal candidate will be proactive and take ownership of their area, coming up with new ideas and solutions to improve performance.
  • Excellent communication skills are crucial to this role, as you will be liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners on a regular basis.
