Carolina Herrera is seeking a Senior Account Executive specializing in the EMEA market. This dynamic role within our team requires a confident and flexible individual with keen attention to detail who is passionate about luxury fashion. The role involves managing existing wholesale clients in the UK and Europe, driving organic sales growth and prospecting new business. A successful candidate will have a history of working in a luxury womenswear brand with department stores, e-tailers, and independent retailers.

This is a 6-month mission, 3 days per week, plus market weeks in Paris.

Remote working on a day-to-day basis with the candidate ideally based in Paris or London. Travel required for market week and to visit accounts.  

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Partner with the Sales Director to devise and implement EMEA sales strategy in alignment with the company's vision and goals.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, financial reporting and regular reviewing to achieve or surpass targets.
  • Identify and capitalize on commercial growth opportunities for the brand.
  • Manage research and development of suitable accounts for the EMEA region.
  • Monitor and improve sales performance and influence merchandising and visual merchandising.
  • Deliver regular merchandising feedback to headquarters to create suitable product mix and merchandising strategy/pricing structure.
  • Continuously review competitor activity and stay updated on market trends.

Account Management

  • Serve as a key contact for existing wholesale partners, nurturing relationships and ensuring excellent communication.
  • Develop and implement a sales plan for all major accounts.
  • Regularly review, analyze and provide feedback on sales activity, market demands and customer perception.
  • Conduct product training with commercial partners and team.
  • Develop strong relationships with personal shopping teams and sales staff.
  • Work closely with the PR & Marketing department and external press agencies to raise brand profile and maximize PR opportunities with key accounts.
  • Monitor shipping to achieve monthly shipping goals and ensure quick time to market to improve sales performance.
  • Assist with accounts receivables and communicate proactively with accounts that are late or delinquent.

Market

  • Collaborate with the Wholesale Assistant to schedule market appointments and manage the calendar.
  • Coordinate Paris market activities including appointment bookings, sample movements, and showroom preparation.
  • Provide regular updates on account reporting for market appointments.
  • Ensure submitted orders align with the wholesale strategy, brand representation regarding product assortment and positioning, and sales targets.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the fashion industry, specifically EMEA luxury RTW market.
  • Existing relationships with EMEA wholesale accounts.
  • Business and results oriented, able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, dynamic with an independent work style.
  • Proficient communication skills, written and oral.
  • Strong retail knowledge and fashion sensibility.
  • English fluency. Proficiency in an additional language (Spanish, French, Italian, or German) is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical skills are preferred.
  • Ability to travel mainly within Europe and for Paris market 4 times per year (up to 30 – 40% of the time).
