About the role
The PR & Trade Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing effective public relations and trade marketing strategies to enhance our brands’ presence, engage with key stakeholders, and drive sales through trade channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of both PR and trade marketing principles. The successful candidate will join the NAMES team based in its East London headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations:
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Handle sample call ins
- Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reporting
- Organise and coordinate press events
- Manage any other PR-related issues.
Trade Marketing:
- Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to support sales goals and enhance brand presence in retail environments.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, trade shows, and other events targeting trade partners and customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team and brands to develop trade-specific marketing materials and programs.
- Analyse market trends, customer insights, and sales data to optimize trade marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with brands on their trade marketing budgets and track ROI
- Provide regular reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in PR and trade marketing, preferably within luxury and/or fashion
- Strong understanding of media relations, brand management, and trade marketing principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful PR and marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software/tools.
