We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who is as much a creative storyteller as they are a strategist. This role goes beyond scheduling posts — you’ll be crafting and executing ideas that showcase Whitelaw Gold’s craftsmanship, engaging with our community of luxury customers, and helping shape how our brand is experienced online.
As part of a growing team, this role offers the chance to take ownership, expand responsibilities, and play a key role in elevating our digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Creativity
- Develop and execute social strategies that amplify Whitelaw Gold’s luxury positioning and connect with high-end audiences.
- Bring fresh creative ideas for campaigns, activations, and social-first storytelling.
- Content Creation
- Ideate, plan, and produce engaging content (photo, video, copy, and design) that brings our collections to life.
- Collaborate with the wider creative team on shoots and brand storytelling.
- Community Management
- Nurture and grow our social community through daily interaction, relationship building, and excellent customer engagement.
- Act as the brand voice, ensuring every interaction reflects our values and attention to detail.
- Performance & Insights
- Monitor and report on key social metrics, using insights to refine strategies and improve results.
- Spot trends and opportunities to keep Whitelaw Gold ahead of the curve.
- Collaboration & Growth
- Work closely with marketing, PR, and sales to align social media with wider brand goals.
- Support paid campaigns and learn to manage targeted ads for reach and conversion.
- Take initiative to expand the role as our social media function grows.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience managing social media for luxury, fashion, or lifestyle brands (jewelry experience a plus).
- A strong creative eye for visuals and storytelling across Instagram, TikTok, and other key platforms.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills with a tone suited to luxury audiences.
- Hands-on experience with content creation (shoots, video editing, or design skills a bonus).
- Proficiency in social management and analytics tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social, GA).
- A proactive, ideas-driven mindset with the ability to balance creativity and strategy.
- This is a unique opportunity for a social creative who wants to shape how a luxury brand shows up online — not just post content, but create conversations, build community, and drive cultural relevance.
