Job Purpose Summary: 

This is a new role within the marketing department to hold the brand guardian role for our new brand Joro. This person will own the oversight of all brand consumer touchpoints for the Joro brand, most importantly content, campaigns, social media (Instagram, Facebook and TikTok), and PR. This person will create seasonal and commercial campaigns and work with the founders and content agency to deliver on these. They will then own the social media strategy to ensure our platforms represent the Joro brand aesthetic and values. Part of this role will be to work with the community team to select find and create content around sustainability/social cause stories, unique points of view and voices for our content pillar framework. As the business is focused on growing its DTC proposition this role requires an ability to analyse and read data to form data-lead marketing strategies to provide reasoning for proposed actions plans. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the Joro marketing and campaign calendar

• Joro campaign and content concept creation and briefs and calendar management with the content team

• Ideation and creation of PR stories to support the PR agency to ensure maximised features across the USA and UK

• Social media strategy and management for Joro channels (priority channels – Instagram and TikTok)

• Copywriting for social media with the social media executive and across main digital touchpoints email/web/sms

• Direct graphic designers on all Joro marketing creative cross-channel

• Reporting: social media, PR and community (with PR and community support)

• Shoot and create social-first content on location: interviews, vox pops, behind the scenes 

• Plan and present Joro brand partners ready for collaborated product drops coming in 2023

• Ideate and present exciting and new ways to launch collections in physical activations and guerrilla marketing

• Partnership marketing proposals, cross brand and vertical 

 

Experience and Skills:

 

• Experienced in managing cross-channel brand campaigns, ideally but not essentially within the premium clothing, home, lifestyle and beauty space

• Experience with content creation and planning to achieve an emotional connection with consumers for engagement and reaction

• Creative mindset to create campaigns and content that is powerful on social media and web platforms

• Understanding of core web metrics for growth so that the brand content strategy ladders up to hit these KPIs

• Social media and community experience growing a brand online through traffic and followers

• Strong and hands-on personality who can work well in an entrepreneurial fast-moving company

• Proven administration and organisational skills

• Excellent reading and writing English proficiency

• Working knowledge of Photoshop or similar design software (basic level)

• Good verbal and written communication

• A team player

• Proactive nature

• A high attention to detail

• Self-motivated entrepreneurial mindset
