Our client, a leading company in sustainable fashion & lifestyle product design are looking for a Senior Digital Designer. The designer will be responsible to ensure that the brand name & vision are aligned through all medias including but not limited to content, website, packaging, product branding and guidelines. This position will be central to the development process, ensuring the inputs of the Creative Director and Head of Design are implemented. Likewise, they will align brand, marketing and ecommerce teams on typography and brand design. This person will create high quality design solutions by directly executing design and leveraging internal/external design resources. The Ideal candidate will take their craft seriously, but also enjoy designing quick hits for laughs and likes. The work environment is fast-paced and energetic; no day is ever the same. The ideal candidate needs to be able to work within a team but also autonomously, be multi-disciplined and thrive off having many projects on the go at once. This person will be from a cutting edge and innovative fashion background.

Main responsibilities

• Creative lead and creation of digital assets and content

• Overview of the look and feel of the website and newsletter

• Lead and manage the branding and graphic design projects process from the research stage through final execution

• Follow up on all designs through meetings with Head of Design & Creative Director, and facilitates any variants and modifications on designs.

• Challenge the Head of Design and Creative Director and translate the ideas of the Creative Director to the next level.

• Being responsible for all label designs, artwork, guidelines

• Work closely with team members to ensure design development aligns with the branding guideline and vision.

• Collaborates productively between graphic design, eCommerce, digital, marketing, merchandising, and product departments

• Work closely with the agency to brief them about our vision

Qualifications:

• 5 years of hands-on brand, digital and graphic design experience, and Bachelor’s Degree in Design

• Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite software 

• Strong typography skills, conceptual design skills

• 360 brand design experience (i.e., print, packaging, digital, environmental, experiential)

• Illustration, photo retouching, film editing, motion design knowledge

• 3D and Coding knowledge are a must 

• Extraordinary design taste and expertise with an excellent sense of design trends

• Lifestyle, Design, & Culture: Responsible for staying ahead of current trends in design, fashion, music, lifestyle brands, social media, and all relevant digital platforms. Followed by the need to translate into design solutions consumer connections to elevate our brands, make them hyper-relevant and drive deep consumer love.

• Ability to work in an agile, dynamic work environment with a start-up mentality

• Strong stakeholder relationship management - effectively influence at all levels in the organization, as well as across regions and functions

• Effectively communicates (in English), verbally and written, with internal and external business partners

• Collaborative and works well with others to deliver results; keep others informed to avoid unnecessary surprises

• Ability to multitask. Time and project management skills to be able to meet project deadlines

This role is a Freelance role within London but some days can be worked remotely. The role may require some travel between London and Paris for different projects.
