Title: Accounts Payable - Suppliers Accountant (Comptable Fournisseurs)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable - Suppliers Accountant to join the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a keen attention to detail. As an Accounts Payable - Suppliers Accountant, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify and process vendor invoices and statements in a timely manner

Investigate and resolve vendor and invoice discrepancies

Ensure that vendor accounts are reconciled and accurate

Monitor the status of purchase orders and receipts

Respond to vendor inquiries and requests for information

Prepare, maintain, and distribute vendor reports

Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Interact with other departments, including procurement, supply chain and logistics, to resolve vendor issues

Provide support to the Senior Director of Accounting, as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field

2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related role

Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Strong computer skills, including experience with accounting software and ERP systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English

Experience in fashion or luxury industry is a plus
