Au Depart is currently in search of an efficient Logistics Manager to join our team. In this dynamic role, your key responsibility will be to organize and optimize the storage and distribution of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Mastery of the entire supply chain process is vital for effective coordination and collaboration with partners, ranging from raw material suppliers and manufacturers to retailers and customers. 


Key Responsibilities

As a Logistics Manager, you will be expected to:

  • Leverage ERP systems for managing stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
  • Utilize related information systems to synchronize and control the order cycle.
  • Extract and analyze data from ERP systems to measure performance, assure quality, and devise improvement plans.
  • Allocate and manage staff resources to cater to shifting needs.
  • Negotiate and liaise with customers and suppliers.
  • Business development through new contracts, analysis of logistical issues, and creation of innovative solutions.
  • Understand and work with e-commerce, and help in its development if required.
  • Continuously strive for business performance enhancement within the restrictions of legislation, fuel costs, and mounting environmental pressures.
  • Implement health and safety protocols.
  • Handle staff shipping issues.
  • Plan and manage projects.
  • Devise new supply strategies.
  • Map out vehicle routes.
  • Provide consultancy services using specialist knowledge like mechanical-handling systems.
  • Oversee team management.
